Over the last few years I’ve grown fascinated with the notion of beauty. Our culture is obsessed with it. We have pills, products, and workout plans all designed to help us become more beautiful. But I’ve come to believe, and I think most would agree, that our cultural understanding of beauty is shallow and superficial.

As a pastor, a few years ago, I started wondering if there were connections between what I believe and beauty, and whether or not beauty has the power to transform us. Since then, I’ve done a bit of reading and reflecting. Recently, I finished a teaching video that captures some of the connections I’ve made between faith and beauty. I hope that you’ll take some time to view this video (it’s less than 9 minutes long). If you find it to be interesting, feel free to pass it along.

Grace and Peace.
